We partnered with IDL for upgrade phase one of their canning line, installing a Westrock cluster wrap machine. The next step, phase two, involved the installation of a Fibre King machine that wraps larger outer cartons and a modular palletiser that stacks the cartons on pallets for shipping. LGE Electrical Services was proud to play a key role in installing and commissioning the electrical systems for this advanced machinery.
Expert electrical installation for high-speed machinery
The new Fibre King equipment arrived in six pieces, transported in two shipping containers from Thailand. LGE Electrical Services was entrusted with the electrical setup and commissioning, working closely with IDL’s maintenance team and the Fibre King technicians to ensure the machinery was fully operational within just two weeks.
This installation allows IDL to maximise their canning line’s speed, increasing production capacity to 10,000 cans per hour. Our expert team ensured that the electrical systems supporting the carton wrap machine, conveyors, and modular palletiser were seamlessly integrated to enhance overall productivity.
Advanced electrical sensor communication
One of the standout features of this upgrade was the advanced electrical sensor communication system. This technology allows different sections of the canning line to communicate, ensuring that each part of the process runs smoothly. By adjusting speeds automatically, the system ensures that the filler, seamer, and wrapping equipment work in harmony, preventing bottlenecks and maintaining a consistent output.
